Das Wetter in Neufundland zeigt sich glücklicherweise von seiner besseren Seite, auch wenn es langsam kälter wird. So steht auch einem Anstieg auf den Gros Morne im gleichnamigen Nationalpark nichts im Wege. Vorher geht’s jedoch auf die Tablelands, ein seltenes geologische Phänomen. Nach einem Zwischenstop auf der Insel Foto Island, fahre ich noch an den östlichsten Punkt Nordamerikas, Cape Spear, ganz in der Nähe von St. John’s.
The weather in Newfoundland luckily got better, even though it’s getting colder now. So I got the best conditions to hike up the Gros Morne in the national park with the same name. But before I go up to the Tablelands, which is a rare geological phenomenon.
After a stopover on Fogo Island, I go to the most easterly point in North America, Cape Spear, which is close to St. John’s.
