Bevor ich Florida verlasse, will ich noch einmal auf die andere Seite, so besuche ich bei der Bucht von Tampa das Fort de Soto. Auf der Autobahn hatte ich kurz vorher eine interessante Begegnung. Ein anderer Sebastian aus Hessen wird auf mich aufmerksam und will mich von der Straße lotsen. Wenig später treffen wir uns auf der Sports Aviation Expo in Sebring, wo ich einen Freiflug mit einem besonderen Flugzeug spendiert bekomme. Schließlich geht’s noch schnell nach Tampa zum Gasparilla Pirate Festival, wobei ich dafür leider doch etwas spät bin und nur mit Mühe noch die ein oder andere Party finde.
Before I leave Florida, I want to see the other side as well, so I visit the Fort de Soto in the Tampa bay. I had an interesting meeting on the interstate before. Another Sebastian from Hesse saw me driving and wanted to pull me off the road. Later on we met on the Sports Aviation Expo in Sebring, where I got a free flight with a special airplane. In the end I went back to Tampa for the Gasparilla Pirate Festival, but I’m a little late and had some trouble to find a party.
